Payments can be made through the UIS Sales Portal via PSE or by downloading the receipt to pay at authorized banks.

Yes, the entire procedure is conducted online via the UIS website and email.

If you are unable to download your study certificate despite having completed the payment, one of the following situations may be occurring:

  • Recent payment: You must wait two banking business days after making the payment for it to be processed and reflected in the system.

  • Incorrect service: Please make sure you selected the correct service — “Constancia de Matrícula Estudiantes Activos” (Enrollment Certificate for Active Students) — at the time of payment.

  • Outdated ID document: If your identification document is not updated in the academic system, you will not be able to download the certificate. To update it, send your ID in PDF format along with your full name, student ID number, and academic program to inscripciones@uis.edu.co.

  • Payment with incorrect document: If you made the payment using an outdated ID number that does not match the information in the academic system, you will need to register again with your current ID and make a new payment. In this case, you may request a refund for the previous payment by sending an email to certificados@uis.edu.co.

If none of these situations apply and you are still unable to download your certificate, we recommend contacting us via email at  certificados@uis.edu.co.

Send an email to inscripciones@uis.edu.co with your new ID document in PDF format, along with your full name, student ID number, and academic program to request the update.

If you made the payment using an outdated ID document, your certificate request will not be processed. You will need to register again with your updated ID and make a new payment. In this case, you may request a refund for the previous payment by sending an email to certificados@uis.edu.co.

The email must include the following information:

  • Full name

  • Identification number

  • Type of certificate requested

  • Academic program (current or former)

  • Student ID code (if remembered)

  • Mobile phone number

  • A scanned copy of your ID document attached in PDF format

The cost of the grade certificate varies depending on the number of semesters completed and other conditions. To obtain more information about the exact fee, please send an email to certificados1@uis.edu.co with the following information:

  • Full name

  • Identification number

  • Type of certificate requested

  • Academic program (current or former)

  • Student ID code (if remembered)

  • Mobile phone number

  • A scanned copy of your ID document attached in PDF format

Certificates issued by the Office of Admissions and Academic Records include a QR code in the upper right corner of the document, which guarantees its authenticity.

If the document does not contain a QR code, you can verify its validity by contacting certificados@uis.edu.co.

You can also verify the validity by entering the certificate number in the Consultation – Verification Module.
