Academic Certificates for External Entities

STEP ONE: SEND REQUEST BY EMAIL

Send your request to the email address certificados1@uis.edu.co with the following information:

  • Letter on the entity’s letterhead
  • Identification document of the person to be verified
  • Copy of the authorization duly signed by the citizen to be verified

The above is carried out in accordance with the constitutional right to habeas data established in Article 15 of the Political Constitution of Colombia and by virtue of numeral 3 of Article 24 of Law 1437 of 2011, amended by Law 1755 of 2015.

STEP TWO: DOWNLOAD CERTIFICATE

You will receive the requested verification by email.

STEP ONE: PAY

  1. Payments made through the University’s platform, whether by electronic payment or by receipt for bank payment, will not generate an invoice. If you require an invoice for the services before making any payment, please send the company’s tax registration (RUT) along with a letter including the names of the individuals to be verified to the email admisecre@uis.edu.co. This will allow us to generate the corresponding invoice for your payment.

    If you do not require an invoice, you may proceed with the payment by following the steps below:

  2. Go to the Ventas UIS (“Sales Portal”) portal by clicking the button below.

  3. If you have not registered yet, select “Registro” (“Register”) from the menu on the left and fill in the entity’s details.

  4. Select “Servicios” (“Services”) from the menu on the left.

  5. Search for the “Admisiones – Verificaciones de títulos” (“Admissions – Degree Verifications”) service and click the “Adquirir” (“Request”) button.

  6. Enter your ID number and the password you used during registration.

  7. Proceed with the online payment via PSE or by downloading the receipt to make the payment directly at a bank.

STEP TWO: SEND REQUEST BY EMAIL

Send your request to the email address certificados1@uis.edu.co with the following information:

  • Letter on your company’s letterhead
  • Identification document of the person to be verified
  • Copy of the authorization duly signed by the citizen to be verified
  • Proof of payment in PDF format (It is necessary to submit the proof of payment in PDF format, which can be downloaded from the platform at the end of the payment process by clicking on DOWNLOAD PDF. Please note that without this document, it will not be possible to validate your payment, and therefore the verification cannot proceed.)

The above is carried out in accordance with the constitutional right to habeas data established in Article 15 of the Political Constitution of Colombia and by virtue of numeral 3 of Article 24 of Law 1437 of 2011, amended by Law 1755 of 2015.

STEP THREE: DOWNLOAD CERTIFICATE

You will receive the requested verification by email.

VERIFICATION OF

Autenticidad

Certificates issued by the Office of Admissions and Academic Records include a QR code at the top right of the document, which guarantees the document’s authenticity.

If the document does not have a QR code, you may verify its validity by contacting certificados@uis.edu.co.

You can also verify its validity by entering the certificate number provided in the Módulo de Consulta – Validación y Descargue de Certificados (“Consultation Module – Certificate Validation and Download”).
