Excellence

As the School of Systems Engineering and Informatics, we are recognized as a leading academic institution in northeastern Colombia, distinguished by our five research groups classified in Categories A1 and C by Minciencias. This recognition underscores our commitment to training autonomous, innovative professionals dedicated to the advancement of both the region and the country.

Our academic programs include an undergraduate degree in Systems Engineering, which holds High-Quality Accreditation granted by the Ministry of National Education—renewed consecutively three times. Additionally, we offer postgraduate programs, including a Ph.D. in Computer Science, a Master’s in Informatics for Education, and a Master’s in Systems and Informatics Engineering, the latter also accredited as a High-Quality program.
