At the Faculty of Human Sciences, we consolidate in the offering of high quality undergraduate and postgraduate academic programs, carry out relevant research, which achieves social appropriation of knowledge and we carry out outreach activities that contribute to the resolution of social problems. Members of our academic community have led high-impact projects. We think of the student as a citizen of the world and that is why, with the Language Institute, we offer possibilities to learn English, Portuguese, French and Italian. Through social practice, we forge transformation processes through the involvement of students in programs and projects in various fields of professional performance.

The Language Institute is a self-sustaining academic and administrative unit that offers language courses to the general community, with varying hourly intensities and aimed at a wide range of generational groups. Additionally, as a unit attached to the Faculty of Human Science, the Institute is responsible for teaching the language subjects required in the University’s academic programs.
