Referral to Institutional Networks

It is the action of connecting the person with other services, units, or institutions within or outside the university that can provide the specialized support their case requires.
Mental health

Mental health is a state of well-being that allows people to face life in a balanced way. It is strengthened through life skills, such as emotional and social abilities, which help manage stress and build healthy relationships.

Empowerment

Strategies aimed at improving performance and adaptation in educational and work environments. They include the implementation of academic excellence policies and institutional training plans designed to develop competencies and skills for personal and professional success.

Self-care

A conscious and continuous practice in which a person recognizes their physical, emotional, and mental needs, and makes decisions aimed at preserving their health and balance.

Equity

Promotes equality of rights, responsibilities, and opportunities. It includes gender policies, inclusive education, integrity codes, and ensures fair access to services for people with different abilities.

Cultures

Promotes spaces that encourage the creation, exchange, and appreciation of artistic and cultural expressions. It includes policies for cultural diversity and initiatives that recognize the cultural richness of the university community.

Family Life

Strategies that balance university and personal life. They include the implementation of work disconnection guidelines, family training programs, and activities that involve families, prioritizing well-being and leisure time.

Promotion

Promotes healthy lifestyles and self-care by implementing safety policies, preventing the use of psychoactive substances, encouraging physical activity and sports, and creating spaces that foster a safe and healthy environment.

Citizenship

Promotes a sense of institutional belonging, civic education, and environmental care. It includes environmental policies, respect for public spaces, and responsible coexistence.

POLICY AND LEVEL OF

Prevention

The Mental Health Policy focuses on three pillars: “Take Care of Yourself,” “Release,” and “Recharge.” The Listening Center concentrates on the second pillar, “Release,” which involves building a community-based model that fosters the development of resilient environments.

Likewise, it operates at a secondary prevention level aimed at identifying populations at risk of developing mental health problems.
