Since 1964, the School of Civil Engineering has been addressing the needs of its environment through teaching, research, and outreach in the field of civil engineering. Its unwavering commitment has positioned it as a regional pioneer in the comprehensive training of civil engineers, specialists, and master’s graduates.

UIS alumni exemplify academic excellence across various fields, from holding top academic positions at prestigious national and international universities to actively contributing to national and local solutions in construction, infrastructure design, management, and environmental sanitation. Additionally, they play significant roles in industry, politics, and culture.
