The Nursing program aims to provide comprehensive training for professionals with high scientific, technological, and research capabilities. These professionals are equipped to provide care to individuals, families, and groups, contributing to the improvement of health and well-being at the regional, national, and international levels.

The program is designed to train competent professionals who have cognitive and procedural expertise to address human responses to health problems across the different stages of the human life cycle, using the Nursing Process as a tool.

Additionally, the program ensures that each student and graduate is committed to addressing the social, economic, and political factors that impact the health sector in providing nursing care. It also equips students with the tools necessary for leadership in the administration and management of health services and nursing research processes.
